Inspired by my passion for particle foams and production technologies, and my background in mechanical and product engineering, I look forward to working with you to develop products, product improvements and components.
Industrial product designer
It has been some years since I graduated from the HAN University of Applied Sciences with a degree in industrial product design. In that period, I developed a keen interest in such fields as plastics manufacturing & product technologies. Following that interest, I minored in polymer product engineering.

Minor in polymer product engineering
During that programme, I learned a great deal about processing plastics. The topics included production technologies such as injection moulding and extruded plastics. My interest in plastics manufacturing intensified after completing the minor.
Product Engineer
Considering my passion for developing plastic products, the job as Product Engineer at HSV P&I was a good match. I love my work developing and improving plastic products made from expanded foams.
Finding feasibility for complex products, solving challenging puzzles
In my work as a Product Engineer, I contribute to finding ways to make complex products feasible. I view it as an opportunity to solve a complicated puzzle: embracing the challenge, exploring feasibility and product improvements. I look at various factors, including geometry, tolerances, discharge, types of applications, and how the mould is structured.
Contact with clients, colleagues, suppliers and mould developers keeps my work varied and dynamic. In my work, we can coordinate quickly and maintain short lines of communication.
My personal mission: To support sustainable product development and process optimisation. Reducing waste and maintaining good relations with clients, suppliers and colleagues are core values.
What makes me happiest? The finished product and the feedback I get from my colleagues or the client.

About Antwan
Antwan has been working as a mechanical engineer for a number of years now. His knowledge enables him to contribute to the development of plastic products and welding moulds.
In his free time, he can often be found on a racing bicycle, and occasionally hits the gym. Alternating between his racing bicycle and mountain bike, he travels through the Netherlands, Luxembourg or Belgium, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
