Inventum SavePump gets appealing new design in EPP
EPP plays a very prominent role in the design of the Inventum SavePump, the heat reclamation system launched by Inventum.
The hidden invention. by HSV was used as a visible component in the device.
The beautifully designed front panel incorporates a textured EPP component. The SavePump helps Dutch clients to save up to 60% on their heating costs.
Appealing new design in EPP
Inventum came up with a plan to help its Dutch clients to save more on their heating costs. Inventum has been partnering with HSV for over 40 years, and has always been very satisfied with the partnership; the company consulted the particle foam engineers on this project as well.
Saving up to 60% on costs
Consumers can achieve up to 60% lower costs on gas-fired heating using the SavePump, and the product can easily be installed alongside any central heating boiler. The SavePump was primarily developed for heating homes built after 1978. The device achieves peak results when it replaces a ventilation unit. Its small size (57 x 50 x 50 cm) makes it possible to install the device in a wide range of boiler rooms, e.g. tucked away behind a knee wall.
Innovative design
The design firm used an existing model as the starting point for the new concept, giving the SavePump a new look. The latest model of the SavePump is even more compact and lightweight, and the technical aspects of its inner workings have been optimised. The device can now be linked to smart thermostats as well.
In the new design, EPP plays a very prominent role; the hidden invention. by HSV was used as a visible component in the device. The front panel incorporates a beautifully shaped EPP component which has a textured surface.
It goes without saying that the design team considered a number of different suppliers in sourcing this project. Fully convinced by our particle foams and the solid expertise of our engineers, Inventum deliberately opted for HSV to complete the development process.
