PIOCELAN; hybrid solution in the same family as EPS

PIOCELAN is a hybrid solution in the same family of particle foams as EPS. This hybrid particle foam is created by combining two polymers: PS and PE.

‘PIOCELAN offers significant structural stability, can be shaped into any form, and possesses powerful shock-absorbent properties,’ explains Jeroen Scheffer, Sales Manager with the particle foam engineers at HSV. Bjorn about PIOCELAN: ‘It is ideally suited for such purposes as protecting products during transport.’ You may find PIOCELAN in various applications, for example as:

  • Protective packaging for transporting industrial products and glass items
  • Shock-absorbent packaging for LCD modules, computers and laptops for the high-tech product industry
  • Home delivery containers for frozen products and insulating containers / boxes for beer transport and storage
